About Me
Introducing your teacher
Hi I’m Annalisa
A languages, sun, sea and sailing enthusiast living on the South Coast of England in sunny Brighton, a real hub of English language learning.
I am passionate about languages. I am a fluent French and Spanish speaker and am currently learning Portuguese. I have really been in your shoes - overcoming language learning difficulties whilst travelling, working and living overseas.
In my online teaching I’ve worked with all levels and aspects of English teaching - from business English to lessons for children, from general English conversation classes to preparing students for exams. I love the variety and working alongside individuals to achieve their personal goals.
I have taught in person at local Brighton summer schools (Intensive School of English, Hove and Alpadia, Rodean School) to teenagers and young adults from all over Europe. I have done volunteer teaching in local schools in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and online with Santa Marta, a Colombian foundation for girls. My other online teaching experience includes Number 16 school, a Spanish-based company, teaching on Preply and I currently enjoy teaching and preparing courses for Susie Woo Ltd alongside Seashells English.
When I’m not busy teaching, you’re most likely to find me on the sea in my little boat, a Hobie 16, (my pride and joy), running along the seashore, playing a new song on the piano or exploring somewhere new.
